Hello, I’m Ryan Lutz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to supporting others in finding meaning, developing an authentic sense of self, and overcoming barriers on the road to leading healthy, fulfilling lives. My background in individual and family therapy coupled with over 4 years of providing mobile crisis support to those experiencing mental health emergencies has given me the opportunity to work with a diverse cohort of clients across ages and identities. In all of this work, my client-led approach is guided by an enduring belief that each of us holds the wisdom to create the change we want to see in ourselves, our family, and our community.
I specialize in supporting teens and young adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, confused, or disillusioned as they navigate challenges related to social relationships, finding direction in education or employment, and developing independence. This might look like a sudden, surprising change or something that manifests more gradually over time. These shifts may be related to underlying feelings of anxiety or depression or could be rooted in changes to ways of thinking or perceiving the world. Additionally, I have experience supporting family members as they practice setting boundaries, accessing community support, and nurturing autonomy. I bring warmth, creativity, compassion, and humor to sessions with the goal of developing practical skills for addressing the here and now while also fostering a richer understanding of how our stories inspire resilience and direction.
I am available for online therapy as well as in-person nature, home visit, and activity-based sessions. I offer both individual and family support. During a free, initial consultation we will have an opportunity to discuss your goals in coming to therapy and I can provide a more in-depth picture of what it would look like to work together so that you can decide if this is a good fit. I wish you the best of luck on the road ahead and hope to hear from you.
