Hello, I’m Ryan Lutz, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to supporting others in finding meaning, developing an authentic sense of self, and overcoming barriers on the road to leading healthy, fulfilling lives. My background in individual and family therapy coupled with over 4 years of providing mobile crisis support to those experiencing mental health emergencies has given me the opportunity to work with a diverse cohort of clients across ages and identities. In all of this work, my client-led approach is guided by an enduring belief that each of us holds the wisdom to create the change we want to see in ourselves, our family, and our community.
I specialize in addressing concerns related to anxiety and depression as well as psychosis symptoms stemming from schizophrenia or other serious mental illness (SMI). Additionally, I have experience supporting loved ones of those with SMI as they navigate the challenges of boundary setting, accessing community support, and nurturing autonomy. I bring warmth, creativity, compassion, and humor to sessions with the goal of developing insight and fostering growth.
I am available for online therapy as well as in-person nature and activity-based sessions. I work across a range of ages and offer both individual and family support. During a free, initial consultation we will have an opportunity to discuss your goals in coming to therapy and I can provide a more in-depth picture of what it would look like to work together so that you can decide if this is a good fit. As someone who has experienced both the challenges and transformative power of therapy in my own life, I recognize how difficult it can be to embark on this journey. I wish you the best of luck on the road ahead and hope to hear from you.
